You can download a beta version of Pinyin Hai mobile phone game here. It has only the first level and doesn't support play with individually prepared levels. You will always play with the same set of 100 of the most common characters. There are also some other limitations and there may even be some bugs (!). But check back soon, because new improved versions are coming. The game is optimized for screen widths from 128 pixels to 210 pixels.

Download directly to your phone

If your phone can get out on the Internet, point it's browser to http://www.komut.se/mobile/games.wml and select "Pinyinhai". Your handset should start the download process and just answer "Yes" or "OK" to all questions that pop up.

Download to your computer

You can download the game to your computer and then use connections such as bluetooth, IR or a direct cable to install the game on your mobile phone. Right-click the two links below, choose "Save target as.." and save the two files in the same directory on your computer. Your mobile handset will recognize the file pinyinhai.jad if it supports Java applications.

The flashcards application doesn't exist as a standalone application, it's only intended to be run in the web browser on the Internet. You can easily put it on your own web page though. Just download the two files below and link them or cut-and-paste their content in the "head" element of your web page. Read more about this and configuration here.
